Instructions:  As a cleanser:  Apply to soaking wet hair, massage the scalp, leave on for 5 minutes, detangle, then rinse.  As an oil-free rinse-out conditioner:  Apply to soaking wet hair, leave in for 5 minutes, detangle and rinse.  As a leave-in conditioner:  Apply to damp hair, detangle, then seal with an oil or butter.
